3M advanced abrasives with No-slip Grip backing provides longer sheet life 10 times longer than conventional sandpaper. It also reduces rolling of the sheet and helps reduce hand fatigue since you can now sand with your whole hand. For the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the wood and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to ultra fine, skipping no more than one grit between sanding steps 60-80 grit (coarse) removes, 100-150 grit (medium) smooth and 180-400 grit (fine/ultra-fine) finishes. Use sheets of sandpaper by hand, on a sanding block or cut it to size for a power tool sander.
